Utah President Results: Trump Wins
Donald Trump has won the Utah contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s six Electoral College votes. In 2020, Trump won Utah with 58% of the vote, while Joe Biden received 38%. In 2016, Trump won Utah with 46% of the vote, while Hillary Clinton received 28%. A Republican stronghold, in part thanks to its sizable Mormon population, Utah last voted for a Democratic presidential candidate in 1964 when it backed Lyndon B. Johnson.
