Mississippi House Primary Results 2026
Longtime Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson fended off a primary challenge from Evan Turnage, a 34-year-old former Senate aide. Thompson will be heavily favored to win an 18th term in the solidly Democratic 2nd District in November.
All three House Republican incumbents running for re-election for their deep-red seats in Mississippi advanced out of their primaries.
